Hi there, I’m Jessica Rockwell!

I started photographing professionally about 18 years ago. After photographing portraits for several years, I was looking for a way to really target my strengths. My newborn clients always mentioned how happy they were with the way I handled their little ones, my patience with them, and how it seemed to come naturally to me (and who doesn’t love to spend their days with a sweet newborn). So a specialization in newborns, maternity, and birth photography was created.

I know how important your little blessings are, and I am extremely patient (it’s a gift!) and gentle, and always work off the feel of the baby. I have a lot of experience working with newborns and making sure they are safe in each position. If they aren't liking a pose, or if I'm not comfortable with it, I will never force it. I like to use simple props and stick with poses that are more natural to baby, so your session is about what's most important-your baby. I have a calm, relaxed approach and will gently guide you in poses while capturing beautiful, authentic moments. I love getting to know my clients and connecting with them throughout our sessions.  

A lot of time is spent capturing and editing each photo so your images are as perfect as possible. It's a real blessing, and so humbling to be able to be a part of such important moments in my client's lives, and I really strive to give you the best I can offer!
