Newborn Session | 900

NEWBORN SESSIONS are customized to you. If you prefer a more posed session, lifestyle, or a mix, we will make it your own. The session is done in the comfort and convenience of your home around 5-14 days after birth when babies are extra sleepy. Siblings (and dads) participate much easier as they are more relaxed and natural at home. After booking, you'll have access to important instructions for the session, and a link to my props to choose from before your baby arrives. We will schedule your session date after delivery. We don’t set a time limit, but typical newborn sessions can last a few hours to accommodate feeding, diaper changes, comforting, and pose changes. Spouses, siblings, and pets are included. I usually work with available light so the process is natural and more relaxing. There will be minimal posing, with a focus on natural moments. If you prefer a more lifestyle feel, then we will focus on the daily connections between you and your newborn. The session comes with approximately 50 retouched digital images in a password-protected online gallery that you can download. No print purchases through me are required. Note: I always work off the feel of baby, and make sure they are safe in each position. If they aren't liking a pose, or if I'm not comfortable with it, I will never force it. One pose I don't do is the chin resting on the hands, also known as frog pose. It's not a natural pose, puts unnecessary pressure on the baby’s hips, and really isn’t the safest pose. It requires another person to help hold the baby’s head and some extra editing in photoshop. The pose with their head on their arms is another one I don’t love. I prefer to stick with poses that are natural for baby and don’t want to risk any harm.

*All wraps and blankets are washed with 100% dye and perfume-free detergent. All props are sanitized.

Maternity Session | 650

MATERNITY SESSIONS are done at a Dallas/Fort Worth location of your choice around 28-35 weeks, depending on how you are showing. They are done outdoors or in the home. We want the belly to be big, but not too big and uncomfortable. ;) The session can last 1-1.5 hours with outfit changes if you'd like. Maternity sessions come with approximately 50 retouched digital images in an online password-protected gallery for download. View our Maternity Session gallery.

Family or 6 month or 1 year Session | 550

Family/6mo/1yr sessions are done on-location in Dallas/Fort Worth. We will work together to find a location that fits the look you’re going for. I like to keep it relaxed, but fun, and do a combination of posed and candid photos. Sessions last about an hour and include approximately 50 retouched images in an online gallery for download. **You aren’t required to purchase prints through us, although it is highly recommended. The printing of your portraits is just as important as the quality of the images, and professional prints are available through the gallery link.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking (newborn, family), with the remainder due at the session.
